Hello all,
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Mines was spent with my family here in California. It's always a blessing when you can get together and spend time with people that you love. It's also made me reflect on this past year and all of the wonderful things that have happened. 2015 brought promotion (both in the natural and spiritual) and many new experiences. I stepped away from a lot of things in order to embrace the new and I wouldn't change any of it. I was able to pay off debt and put myself in a much better financial state which is truly a blessing from God.
As 2016 approaches I will continue this journey of growth. Spiritually, I am going to continue to step out of my comfort zone and allow God to do whatever he wants in me. Financially, my goal for the new year is to put $10,000 away in savings. Sounds like a lot but I know with God and a lot of discipline that I can do it. I will also celebrate my 25th birthday at the beginning of this new year. That in itself is a huge blessing. I am thankful that as I approach 25 that I have a stable job, amazing friends, a solid relationship with my family, good overall health, and mental and spiritual clarity. January 2016 will also be my fourth year here in California.
2016 will be a year of much growth and I will continue to build on the wonderful and solid foundation of 2015. Ain't nothing gonna hold me down. 2016 I'm coming for you. I hope you all have a safe, and happy new year!
Your's truly,
A girl on fire
